Refund Policy

Downloadable software

SUMMER is downloadable software that can be evaluated in a full-quality, time-limited demo mode before purchase. Because access to the software and license key is delivered digitally, purchases are final once the license has been delivered. We do not provide refunds for change of mind, workflow preference, failure to review the published system requirements, or failure to evaluate the demo before purchasing.

When a refund may be available

A refund may be provided:

• when required by applicable law or a non-waivable consumer right;
• for a duplicate or unauthorized charge, subject to verification;
• when the purchased software or license was not delivered; or
• when SUMMER has a verified material defect that prevents it from functioning as described and we cannot provide a reasonable solution.

Before requesting a refund for a technical issue, please contact us and provide the macOS version, Mac model, SUMMER version, a description of the problem, and any relevant error message. Do not send confidential audio files unless we specifically ask for them and you are authorized to share them.

How refunds are handled

Polar Software, Inc. is the merchant of record and authorized reseller for SUMMER. Approved refunds are issued through Polar to the original payment method. Do not send payment information by email. If a refund is issued, the related license key, downloads, and other product benefits may be revoked.

Consumer rights

This policy does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law. Polar may also issue a refund when required by law, payment-network rules, fraud prevention, or chargeback prevention.
